You may utilize the Client Portal for everything from scheduling your initial consultation and completing the paperwork for your first session, scheduling subsequent sessions and to pay your balance. Through the portal, you also have the ability to communicate with your clinician in a secure manner, called secure messaging. You may also call the clinic to schedule at 806-429-8088. If you have insurance or are applying for the sliding fee scale, we will verify your eligibility and sliding fee scale rate before your first appointment if we have all the necessary documentation. We strongly encourage you to contact your insurance to confirm your benefits before your first appointment to ensure there are no scary financial surprises.
At the time of scheduling, Waypoints Counseling requires credit or debit card information, similar to reserving a hotel room. Your card will be charged either the full rate for the initial consultation, your co-pay or your sliding fee scale rate on the day of the appointment. If you have insurance and have no co-pay, then there will be no charge to your card after the initial consultation and your insurance will be billed. If you choose to change your payment method, you have the option to do that as well at the time of the appointment.
Your card will be charged the fee if you do not arrive for your appointment and do not provide 24-hour advance notice. If you need to cancel and provide 24-hour advance notice of cancellation, there will be no charge made to your card. Clinic Policies and Procedures
