We offer a couple of easy ways to book a session with any of our clinicians. You may call the clinic at 806-429-8088 and Dee will walk you through everything you need to know to get started and scheduled with any of us. If you’d rather choose a time for Dee to call you, you can do that by clicking here. If emailing is more your style, send us a line at email@example.com. You can also utilize the user-friendly Client Portal for everything including scheduling your initial consultation and completing the paperwork for your first session, scheduling subsequent sessions and to pay your balance. Through the portal, you also have the ability to communicate with your clinician in a secure manner with Secure Messaging. If you have insurance and plan to use those benefits, we will provide you with a form to verify your insurance benefits so that you are fully aware of your financial responsibility prior to our first meeting. This form has all the important questions to ask listed so that you don’t have to wonder if you are asking the right questions. If you plan to apply for the sliding fee scale, we will provide you with a form to verify your income and can determine the applicable rate before your first appointment if we have all the necessary documentation.
At the time of scheduling, Waypoints Counseling requires credit or debit card information, similar to reserving a hotel room. Your card will be charged a deposit for the full rate of the full session the day you are scheduled with your therapist. On the day of your appointment, either the full rate for the initial consultation, your co-pay or your sliding fee scale rate will be charged to your card. If you have insurance and have no co-pay or other financial obligation (i.e. deductible), then there will be no charge to your card after the initial consultation and your insurance will be billed. If you choose to change your payment method, you have the option to do that as well at the time of the appointment or via the Client Portal.
It is important to note that Waypoints Counseling has a 24-hour cancellation policy. If you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment and do not provide the appropriate notice, your card will be charged a $60 missed session fee. If you need to cancel and provide 24-hour advance notice of cancellation, there will be no charge made to your card.
