About Erin
Hello and welcome to Waypoints Counseling! I am a wife, mom, daughter, friend, veteran, therapist and entrepreneur and I LOVE what I do. When you walk into my office, I look for the vision of your possible future and wait patiently for the day when you can not only see it too but begin to live it out.
I graduated from Kansas State University, followed by Washburn University for my graduate training where I received a Master of Social Work degree. I am an EMDR Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant with EMDRIA . Additionally, I am a Certified EMDR Therapist, Consultant and Training Facilitator with The Maiberger Institute as well. I received my EMDR Therapy training from The Maiberger Institute.
Beyond this model of therapy, I use a variety of techniques based on the personal needs of my clients with a holistic approach considering the whole person in their environment.

About Michelle
Hi! Iโm Michelle, a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), dedicated to helping you achieve your goals. Currently under the supervision of Erin Evanson-Lass, LCSW-S, I am continuously expanding my expertise to provide you with the highest level of care.
I am EMDR-trained and take a compassionate, holistic approach to healing, guiding you through trauma and stress in a gentle and supportive way. My goal is to equip you with the tools to navigate lifeโs challenges and โlive life on lifeโs terms.โ I integrate biological, psychological, social, and spiritual elements into my work, helping you explore new ways of thinking, feeling, and acting to create meaningful change.
With experience working in community-based settings with children, adolescents, adults, families, veterans, and active military, I specialize in trauma and substance dependence. No matter where you are in your journey, Iโm here to support you with kindness, understanding, and evidence-based care.

Sharla Knippa, LPC
About Sharla
Hello! Iโm Sharla Knippa, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and Iโm honored to walk alongside individuals and families on their journey toward healing and purpose. Whether youโre facing difficult, confusing, or overwhelming moments, Iโm here to provide support, guidance, and encouragement. My goal is to empower you by helping you recognize your strengths and make choices that lead to positive, meaningful change in your life and relationships.
I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling from Wayland Baptist University in 2011 and have since worked in clinical, educational, and private practice settings. I have experience supporting individuals of all ages, from young children to late adulthood, as they navigate a variety of challenges.
I believe transformation begins with the renewal of the mind, and Iโm committed to creating a space where you feel heard, valued, and equipped to move forward. I look forward to working with you!
Outside of counseling, I love spending time with my family and our dogs, traveling, and playing games.

Kinsey Weir, LPC-A
About Kinsey
Hello! My name is Kinsey Weir and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor โ
Associate, supervised by Kelsey Brewer, LPC-S. I know life can be so hard and
challenging and I want you to know you are not alone. It is my passion to be there for
my clients and to guide them through the many trials life can bring.
I graduated from Malone University with a masterโs degree in Clinical Mental Health
Counseling. I work individually to address a variety of issues such as anxiety,
depression, stress management, life adjustments, grief, coping skills, and behavioral
issues. I most often use cognitive behavior therapy to help clients gain new
perspectives, change negative thinking patterns, and improve behaviors and feelings. I also utilize other therapy techniques to meet the specific needs of each client. My goal is to work collaboratively with my clients providing a safe and nonjudgmental
atmosphere for you to express yourself freely, to receive support and ultimately to gain healing and balance.
If you want healing, support, strategies for new ways of thinking, positive coping skills, or even a listening ear, it would be my privilege and honor to walk alongside you
through your journey!

Iโm Diyonne โDeeโ Luce, the Executive Assistant and friendly face behind the scenes, making sure everything runs smoothly. From intake coordination and scheduling to billing and administrative support, I help create a seamless experience for our clients and clinicians. My goal is to ensure every interaction feels welcoming, organized, and stress-free.
Before joining Waypoints, I spent 16 years as a Starbucks Store Manager, where I specialized in training teams and turning underperforming stores into thriving, successful spaces. That experience taught me the importance of leadership, efficiency, and creating a positive environmentโskills I now bring to my role here. After stepping away to focus on my most rewarding jobโbeing a full-time momโI returned to the professional world, balancing my passion for helping others with my business, Pikes Peak Medical Billing.
Iโm a highly motivated, happily married, active mom of two, and I love bringing a sense of structure and support to everything I do. Whether you have questions about scheduling, billing, or getting started with therapy, Iโm here to help with enthusiasm and efficiency.
